Sea Salt Chocolate Chip Cookies (Gluten Free)

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup almond flour

  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 1/4 cup almond or peanut butter

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

  • 2 tablespoons coconut sugar

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 6 ounces dark chocolate chopped

  • Himalayan sea salt

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. 

  2. Grease lined parchment paper on 2 baking sheets.

  3. In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. 

  4. Add the nut butter,  olive oil, maple syrup, coconut sugar, and vanilla extract. 

  5. Stir until the dough is well combined and add in chocolate.

  6. Place a tablespoon size of dough (rounded and slightly flattened) onto baking sheets.

  7. Bake the cookies for 10 minutes.  

  8. Sprinkle with salt immediately after baking.

  9. Let cool before enjoying.
